Ever since Blizzard announced the release of the new expansion World of Warcraft – Warlords of Draenor, I have been counting down the days to get my hold of it. Even though I hated Mysts and stopped playing when it came out, I decided to renew my subscription and try to catch up with my characters so they would be all ready and waiting when the expansion kicks.
I have planned to wait with renewal till one month prior to release but decided against it and renewed it in September. I had a very busy summer so the only game that I’ve been playing during that time was ‘The Secret World’. Truth to be said it began to be a little bit boring and stretched, so I was looking forward to returning to WoW.
When I entered the game after the long absence I literally had to relearn how to play my classes. My main toons are a beastmaster hunter, resto drood, shadow priest and demonologist warlock. Yes, I was no lifer. All of these have been left anywhere between levels 70 and 80, so I had to decide which one I will take through the portal first. I chose my hunter, nothing beats the feeling of the hunter roaming through the wilderness with his loyal pet – with a pet it doesn’t feel like soloing at all.
I couldn’t wait to see which new battle pets Blizz decided to add to their menagerie! That is one of my favorite pastimes and I am a proud owner of over 400 unique pets and counting!
The point of this post is to say that it feels AWESOME to be back and that I am so looking forward to the new adventures in Azeroth and Outland!
