I never expected to get anything even remotely close to the legendary cloak, but when I renewed my subscription I realized that going after it wasn’t such a bad idea after all. There was a game-wide buff ‘Gaze of the Black Price’ that increased reputation gain and also increased drop rate for the needed raid items. It was an one of a kind situation for me to gather my courage and determination for such an endeavour. But I have to mention that Summer was also going for the legendary cloak chain with her Pala so I wasn’t alone and if it wasn’t for her I doubt I would be as motivated.

Seven weeks (!) after I started the first quest from the chain, it was finally over (I had a fair share of luck with Titan Runestones last couple of weeks, though) and my Monk finally got her cloak!
This huuuge success encouraged me to start the chain with my druid as well. Poor druidess I neglected her in favor of the monk whom I’ve been playing a lot more lately, but since the drood has been my main since the beginning, I grew to be too emotionally attached to her to not to try to get the cloak for her as well. Especially while the circumstances are this favorable.

At that time I wasn’t sure whether it would still be possible to obtain the first quest of the chain once the ‘Warlords of Draenor’ arrive, so that was the last moment for me to start the chain with the druid.
I am now happy that I did, because, even though the cloaks will soon become obsolete, they are an impressive achievement and a nice memory to have.
